Anne Becker, BS '84, MS '86. "I have been a clinical neonatal nurse and educator for the last 35 years. My most recent publication is the article, "Traveling with Disabilities" (Wild Iris Medical Education, 2010). UCSF equipped me to practice in new frontiers of nursing and, in gratitude, I have been a long-time donor to the School. I am especially proud to be a volunteer mentor to UCSF nursing students. I donate my time editing student's doctoral thesis and masters comprehensive exams, primarily to non-native English speakers. I love helping them achieve their dreams and actively supporting UCSF School of Nursing."

Shirley Manly-Lampkin, PhD '03, a relative of the late Medgar Evers, joined other surviving family members in San Diego November 12 to witness the christening of the Navy's newest ship, the USNS Medgar Evers. Manly-Lampkin and the women of the family acknowledged the honor by resuming use of their last name, Evers.

Pamela Klein Pamela Klein, MS '95, has helped establish Boston's first clinic dedicated to caring for transgendered homeless patients at the Boston Health Care for the Homeless Program (BHCHP).
